It's been a while since I've wanted to write about Westworld, my favourite TV show; looks like today's the day!
Westworld is a story about artificial intelligence, morality, consciousness, destiny and freedom. If it sounds even remotely interesting to you, please watch it before reading this page. This might as well would be one of the best show you will ever watch, and you can only watch it for the first time for only once.
Without further ado, let's dig in. I will introduce the story in pieces, each piece focusing on a group of people who are involved in a storyline, mostly separate from other characters. But, it's worth introducing the setup first.
Setup
The story commences in a not-so-distant future. A company named Delos operates a number of parks, each of them simulates a part of the real world in another time. Westworld is one of these parks. In these parks are the so-called "hosts" — organic programmable robots that are basically indistinguishable from human beings whether it be their appearances, mannerisms, or biological composition.
